Always use UK spelling, grammar and usage for consistency:

rumour not rumor

clamour not clamor

favour not favor

analyse not analyze

centre not center

travelled not traveled

fulfil/enrol not fulfill/enroll

defence not defense

Admittedly, the US-centric spell checker complicates matters. Consult a dictionary if in doubt.

Also, ‘has got’ rather than ‘has gotten’;

'a bomb explosion on Thursday' not 'a bomb explosion Thursday'.
