Community Management
Currently, we work with 2 main platforms: Youtube and Facebook
YOUTUBE
As a community manager on behalf of our page, you should participate in discussions under our own videos, engage with the potential viewers on competitors' channels and in the true crime communities, create and publish posts on our Youtube Community page.
COMMENTS ON OUR CHANNEL
Once the new video is released on our YouTube channel, pin a question there. The question should be interesting and engaging and provoke a discussion
Example:
2. Answer the comments under the videos. All the comments that require the answer should be answered the same day.
3. Make sure the comments are compliant with Youtube community guidelines
4. Give hearts to the top comments
COMMENTS ON COMPETITORS' PAGES
Engaging with our target audience and leading them from competitors' channels to ours is important.
What is also important is promoting our new videos on other channels within 30 minutes after their release.
Step 1: Open Youtube in the anonymous page
Step 2: Search for the keywords related to our latest video
Step 3: Choose 5-10 competitors' videos with the biggest number of views/or trending right now
Step 4: Go there, check the discussion, and leave the comments
We can’t promote them directly, but we can participate in discussions, mentioning that we also covered a similar story.
Example:
As you see, we not only promote our video (“we also covered this story“, “check our latest video“ etc), but also mention an interesting and even controversial fact about this story, expressing our attitude.
COMMUNITY TAB ON OUR CHANNEL
Our Community feed includes the following types of posts:
Announcements of the new videos
Posts about the videos just released (Mondays and Thursdays, right after the release of the videos)
Picture polls:
related to the specific video that was previously published
related to the channel content (Which of our November videos is your favorite?)
related to our plans (Which case should we investigate next)
