Before you submit your video to your team lead, please check the following:

  1. Titles:

  • If the photos are titled

  • If the titles are correct: name + who is this person, no grammatical or punctuation errors

  • If the dates are mentioned

  • If the locations are mentioned, the spelling is correct

  • if the footage is marked correctly:

Stock footage that looks like actual - illustrative footage or non-actual footage

Actual footage of a crime scene, evidence at - actual footage (actual police footage, actual FBI footage - depending on the context)

Extractions from movies, fiction or documentary - the title of the movie, year

 

2. Timing

  • Disclaimer lasts for 5-7 seconds

  • The extractions from the movies, other Youtube videos, TV shows, and any borrowed content are no longer than 10 seconds per 1 fragment

  • The general amount of the content borrowed from 1 documentary/movie/youtube show etc. is no more than 30% of your whole video

 

3. Footage

  • Your video starts with vivid, emotional cuts, including rapid editing/fast cuts. If the script seems boring, make a 15-30 seconds intro using fast cuts.

  • Stock footage is neutral, and people/ locations aren’t easy to identify. There is no misleading

Exception: stock footage depicts the specific person/situation/location mentioned in the video

  • Wherever possible, the actual footage is applied. Between stock and actual images, please, give preference to the actual ones

Exception: actual footage doesn’t meet Youtube/Facebook policies).

 

4. Youtube, Facebook Policies

  • No violent actions in the photos/videos displayed (including the moment of the attack, fight, injuring etc)

  • No weapons in action - guns, knives, rifles, etc (including weapons pointed at the camera, gunshot sounds etc)

  • No ways to create or to obtain any kind of weapon should be shown

  • No blood - fake or real. If the pool of blood is displayed, please, blur the blood

  • Uncovered dead bodies - should be blurred or covered with graphic images

  • No drugs or medications should be shown, including the process of taking them

  • No tools or devices that are used to create or to take pills, drugs, medications

  • No self-harm, suiside - incuding dangerious actions, physical harm, hand cuts, asphyxiation etc

 

  • 5. No offensive words

  • Wordings that include words like sex, sexuality, sexual assault, rape should not appear in the video.

  • Body parts (ass, butt, penis, cock, boobs etc)

  • Swore words ( incl. shit, fuck, -ed, -in etc)

Please make sure that you blipped these words or their parts (*exuality, *ex trafficking etc)
