The main idea of this method is to try to understand what YouTube finds as trending videos on a particular topic.
Step 1
Turn on VPN from the location of your target audience. Go to any browser, and open a new ‘Incognito’ Page.

Then go ahead and type in youtube.com.
Step 2
Now you see the topics and videos that YouTube thinks are trending at the moment. It is helpful to study them as well, however, we want to go further and find out what’s trending in your topic.
For that, type in the search bar a simple search, related to a video or a general field that is related to your channel. Don’t be too specific, better be general, just to give YouTube a bit more room for suggestions.
Now scroll through the results, opening in new tabs videos with many views (500K and more) and were published relatively recently (up to 2 years).

You should go ahead and watch 10-20 seconds of each video that you just opened.
Step 3
Go back to the Home Page, without closing the browser, and update the page. What you will get now is YouTube suggestions of trending videos on the topic you just searched.
